Hotspots: Jansz. in the Negen Straatjes from Amsterdam.

The 2016 open Jansz. is one of the most beautiful spots of Amsterdam, in the middle of the Jordan River and in the beautiful Pulitzer Hotel. If only for the sophisticated but accessible interior is Jansz. worth a visit.

The name has its origins in the seventeenth-century craftsman Volkert Jansz; a man with a good eye for the finer things in life, who felt that you only really of luxury could enjoy if it was shared. The philosophy of Jansz. connect perfectly with.

Despite the location, the restaurant is not just another happy tourist hotspot, but also just a fine place for de Amsterdammer itself.

The kitchen
Under the direction of the American chef Cassidy Hallman is comfort food in a unique and luxury twist; you won’t find any cliché hotel cuisine, but dishes as a duo of duck, lobster ravioli and miso-glazed cod – often with a French-Japanese edge.
